Hi all,
I,ve just bought the new Evga classified 4 way mother board and was wondering, will the motherboard water block make much difference.Or is there really no need for it.It cools the NB and SB.

I remember seeing a roundup of 3 different waterblocks for the classified's north and south bridge, but i cant seem to find it anymore. But putting the chipset on water vs stock passive cooling showed huge improvments in temps, and water vs stock active cooling showed a noticable improvment.

Pros: putting it on water will help keep your case ambient temps down, and cooler electronics use less voltage.
Cons: will probably cost over $100 just for the block and will only get you about 50mhz more on your cpu oc, if you're lucky.

Verdict: If you dont minding spending the money, go for it! It'll look great and prolong the life of the mobo!
