Alright, I am not a n00b to water cooling, but I am no expert either. My questions are as such...

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

GPU: POWERCOLOR AX4870 1GB Radeon HD

1) is there anything else I should cool?
2) What is the best rad to get?
3) Are EK water blocks a good idea?

Mind you, I am going to be modding my Antec 900 case, as many of you know it is a great case, but not very large, so I don't really want a huge arse rad hanging off the back of my case. That's like a last resort...you know? Any other help in case I am a total n00b and just haven't realized it...please tell me. I look forward to all the answers!

Alright well after viewing what you showed me, I have kind of narrowed it down. I just...I want to make sure I'll be alright. I kind of know what I want but more opinions are always welcome.

CPU: Swiftech Apogee™ GTZ CPU Waterblock (1/2" & 3/8", Intel Socket 775)

GPU: Swiftech MCW60-4870 Full Cover Waterblock for HD4870

Rad: Swiftech MCR-220 "Quiet Power" Series Radiator

Reservoir: Swiftech MCRES-MICRO Hi-Flo Reservoir

Tubing: 1/2" ID (3/4" OD) Tygon R-3603

Coolant: Primochill w/ Feser View Active UV Dye in Green

These are all from Petra's Tech Shop...any objections? Thumbs up? Otherwise?

Looks OK for a mediocre OC on both your GPU and CPU, but a 240 rad is not enough for the long run. I would look at a MCR320 if you are doing a GPU and CPU loop.

well on the a900 i think it would be quite tough to mount the 3x120 rad. however you did say that you are modding it and the top of the case is about 480 mm long, so it is possible.
you could also put it in the front but then again you kind of need a place to put the hd and cd drive.

Oh yeah I know I need a pump ChiselScape. Hahahaha...I just hadn't mentioned that yet. Hahahaha oops. My limit for my computer is $2200. I have $1400 for the main parts and the rest is liquid cooling (hopefully) and leds and stuff.

Thanks for the other help everyone! This is a very strong possiblity!

Not all of it is going towards watercooling. I really like the Antec 900 and I have already modded one once and I liked it. I mean I can check it out but...if I was to go anywhere it would be with a Cosmos S.

lian lis or the cosmo s are very nice for WC loops, but as you can tell, i have a preference for lian lis.

for me, i would go..

cpu: d-tek fuzion v2 $65
gpu: d-tek gfx v2 $47
gpu ramsink: iandh 4870 ramsink.
$40
rad: 360GTX $100
tubing: primochill, masterkleer, or durelene $.50/ft(avg, cept primochill)
pump: DDC3.2 w/ XSPC top or D5 w/ microres (around $90)
fans: 115CFM panaflos. $14/each
coolant: distilled w/ a few drops of pt-nuke. for color, some feser dye.

it should't be that much over or even get to $400. if i recall correctly.
