Possible? Thoughts?

Plan to design and machine my own block.

Thought it would be a fun project take my mind off school.

I wouldn't want to intall blocks on my psu for fear of electrocution.

It's possible but wouldn't be very practical. There are parts on the circuit board that need a source of air flow. I doubt a copper block would be able to cover those parts.

not to mention the massive heat dump you would needlessly put in your system due to the variable resistors =p

One can do it just for the fun.

But, Koolance has actually made one 1000W PSU already, using liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger.

Koolance has watercooled PSU's.

JG reviewed one of them.

Too bad it didn't perform impressively as a PSU.

A few people have made their own I've thought about it but just like the memory kind of a waste, finely got my cards cool now I had to add another 360, LOL

its kinda pointless, most PSU fans are quiet. i dont think WC ing a PSU is worth it, it wont improve performance!

btw opening up a PSU voids warrenty, and H2O+electricity=instant death.
