Also if i wanted to run blue colored colant which one is good?? or there all the same?
And how many liters of colant is used an average use in wc?
Do i need shrouds?
Also is this res good and does this come with t line or i have to buy taht? http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=22590
Sorry for all the stupid question iam a noob when it comes to wc
Thx for u time

I don't know if they are running a sale or not. Most smaller retailers do not. As far as the coolant, just use distilled H20 and a biocide (PT Nuke or silver coils etc.) If you want to add color, use a dye rather than colored coolant.

I would use shrouds as they increase performance and help remove the "dead spot" in front of the fan blade hub.

You would use either a T line or a res. You don't need one if using the other.

The capacity depends on whay you are running for a loop. It is usually less than you'd think, though. For example, I had about 500cc or so in a CPU loop with a T line, one block, pump and 240 rad.

Okay thx also where is a good place to buy shrouds and which one are good/

Also i am kindof confused with tlines and res. Which ones is better t lines or res and where do u get tlines and which one is good.

ooh and also is there any specific dye to use or any is fine.
Thx
Don't run colored coolant, it will either fade, stained your tubes and blocks, or both. If you want the same look, buy UV tubing, more expensive, but won't ruin your wc components. Straight distilled + pt nuke/silver kill coil is all you need. The rest is just for visual effects

How much water you use really just depends on how much tubing you have and how big your res is. You shouldn't use more than 2 liters after you're done bleeding.

You don't need shrouds, but they will help with temps.

Your link doesn't go to a specific product for me, but I'll tell you that a reservoir does not come with a t-line. You only NEED one or the other, but not both. I use both in my loop. Reservoir for filling and bleeding, t-line to make it easier to change the water.
let see if this linke works http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=22590
How do u get a tline then?? and what is more efficient res or tline???

A T line is just that. A T fitting (Home Depot, Lowes etc.) that attaches to a dead end hose with a plug in the end. It is used to add coolant to a loop. it serves the same purpose as a res and there are benefits to each. The T is cheaper and smaller while a res makes it easier to bleed and adds a small amount of capacity.

I agree with the dye comment as well. I have run loops with it in the past and it looks great at first, but unless you want to flush it out a lot, you'll eventually get stained gear. (worse with cheap tubing)

T line loop:

From cheap tubing and blue dye. (I used pentosin)

It is a combination of the dye and whatever happens to cheap tubing, lol. The white opaqueness is common even if you are using distilled with no dyes. I am not sure what causes it, but it is usually a sign of cheap tubing. Now, that was after months and months of 24/7 operation. I am pretty sure that tubing was from Lowes, too.

then for a tline what would the loop cycle be
for the res i saw it is res pump rad cpu res
Just put the T line where the res would be. T>pump>rad>CPU>T The main thing is to have the inlet (either T or res) right before the pump and to have the rad right before the CPU.

They are very common. Any hardware store or home supply chain will have them. You can get all sorts of sizes and materials. I would just get a plastic one of the correct diameter. (most people use 7/16" tubing on 1/2? barbs, so a 1/2" diameter T is what you'd need)
thx and should i lap my cpu and my block??? or it doesnt make much of a diff??

Hello.

I would forgo lapping the CPU as it will void your warranty (if applicable). Lapping your block will improve your temps, but the improvement may only be marginal.

If every C of temp is important to you... then lap away... but I would still not lap the IHS of the CPU.

I can, but how much really depends on the block. Some (like D-Tek's) are bowed. Due to the fact that the mount holds the pressure from the edges, the face of the block is slightly curved, so that when force is applied arounf the edge, it is sure to have enough contact pressure over the center of the CPU where the die is. So, if you lap it, you could effectively remover the bow and make t perform worse.

In my experience, lapping is not worth it unless the cooler/block is so bad that it is no longer smooth. It is a lot of work for a little gain. If you are going for some records or benching, maybe, but for normal OCing, I'd just leave it unless it is needed.

Pentosin is actually good. A blend of mostly distilled, a little Pentosin, a couple drops of dawn detergent (yes, the dish washing kind), a few drops of glycerin if you have it/can get it, and you can't forget the PT Nuke and/or some silver. You can buy 12" strips from jab-tech for $4 or buy a ready made coil from Petra's tech for like $8, jab-tech is obviously the better deal. Any .999 pure silver is acceptable -- coins, wire, old/broken jewlry, etc -- just make sure it can't get into the pump or blocks, that's why a coiled strip or wire is preferable.

That water makes algae and to use other stuff.
So i was wondering should i get the Feser One F1 like jugg..

Also if iam using a tline where do i fill it and how do i make it to not tip over and spill since there is no res

I would get a fill port
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/83...12FPF-CPB.html
you will have to drill a hole then you would mount the fill port to your case

AS far as feser f1 that is up to you. Distilled water will work just fine and is the cheapest too

oh hey its you so would u recommend me to go feser f1 or distilled water??
but will it stain my tubes and all that stuff like the people up there said??
