Alright, I am going to be setting up my first wc'ing setup on my techstation. I am a major noob and need all the help I can get, so please help me out. I am looking for top of the line parts here. (but not outrageously expensive) Below are the things I need, also I might add things to the list as we go. Thanks

EDIT: I will now be cooling my i7 rig instead of the AM3 as I will not have enough funds to cool both after spending a nice chunk of change on a new bike. The only thing that will change will be the waterblock.

i7 Waterblock: HEATKILLER® CPU Rev3.0

AM3 Waterblock: SwiftechApogee GTZ

Res: XSPC or Bitspower 5.25" Bay

Rad: Feser X-Changer 240mm or a XSPC 240mm rad if you wanna save some cash.

Fitings/Clamps: DD Fatboys

Pump: Swiftech MCP655

Tubing: Primochill, Tygon, Masterkleer, up to you really

Fans for Rad: Scythe Ultra Kaze 3k RPM's or High Speed Yate Loons
That is what I would do. Just make sure to get all the same size tubing and fittings (Usually G1/4 thread, 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD). If you plan on adding a GPU to the loop make the rad a 360mm instead of a 240.

You will need 3 120mm for the size rad you have chosen

Id get a good 10-12ft+ foot of tubing. Yes it is overkill but youll thank me when you need some extra tube or you mess up some of your cuts.

You need to by fittings that fit the tubing you buy. personally i run 1/2 ID by 3/4 OD for this i recommend bitspower compression fittings of the same size, 1/2 ID by 3/4OD

count them out in your loop.

So basically starting at your rez

2 compressions for the rez, 2 for the pump, 2 for the rad, 2 for the cpu block.

So if they CPU is the only thing in your loop and your not adding anything else it looks like 8 should do it. I always buy a bit more then necessary in case a *** pops up. so spend the extra 10 bucks and get 2 more

Ditch the XT and get the Ek Supreme HF. Much better in terms of flowrates, and also gets better temps.

The feser is way overpriced. Get a HW Labs Black Ice SR1, Thermochill PA120.3, or XSPC RX360

The pump is good. Just make sure it's the vario version.

And don't buy anything from primochill. They're company is pure crap, and with the recent stunt with the Typhoon III, I wouldn't even buy their tubing.

As for the fans, if you're going low speed, get some gentle typhoons or my favorites, Gelid Wings

As for the res, it's kinda iffy. I would go and spend a bit more cash for one of Iandh's stealth reservoirs. Not a whole lot more cash, but it is worlds better in terms of quality.
