WC Purchase Question

ok so here's the situation.

NCIX/DirectCanada/BestDirect.ca doesn't have the Yate Loon D12SM-12 fan.

Basically nowhere in Canada has them.

However, Direct Canada does have the MCR320 for 65 + 1-2Day air shipping for 75CAD.

Should I get the MCR320 + 3 Yate Loon D12SM-12 fan combo from Petras for 71USD + shipping (usually ~10 days for around 14USD).

or should I just order it seperately, ie the rad from Direct Canada, and then order just the fans from petras (to lower shipping/customs costs).

I also initally wanted to get the MCW60R2 + GTX-200 mounting adapter + GTX-200HS Full cover heatsink for my gpu but again, only petras has this in stock. All NCIX/DirectCanada has is the MCW60R2 and they dont have anything else in stock.

Besides this, it's really expensive, so I'm going to just get the MCR320 and the 3 Yates for now... and then get the vga cooling later.

I think I would just get it all from petra's, at least then you know if something goes wrong petra's will help you as much as possible.

Shipping is actually fast. It took a little over 2 days for Petras stuff to reach me. The one thing that prevents me from buying huge amounts of stuff in the US is the custom charge.

dar_t did you buy the cheaper shipping or the more expensive one.

I opted to go with the cheaper "First Class Mail" for both of my orders.

They said the eta was ~10 days.

I'm just praying that customs is no more than 30 dollars cad or less.

I have sent and received packages from CAN and I have never had to pay more then $10 shipping. I have sent hard drives, Motherboards and PSU's.

yeah, the big deal here is the customs.

It might be cheap to send stuff here, but customs is a you know what.

Depends on weight and how much you spend I guess.

ditto.

This has happened to me twice:
1) Ordered 2 (or more) things from one retailer at the same time and needed part of the order FAST.
2) Express shipping on part of the order, cheap shipping on the rest. (Even paid an extra $2 once for "express processing").
3) All of order shipped from the same warehouse on the same day (per tracking numbers).
4) Received the express shipping part at least one day LATER than the cheaper shipping.

Well, sweet. You guys have me excited for my petras order.

Everything I ordered is coming in from California except for the rad, which is from B.C. via Purolator Air (1-2 days)

I'm excited
