Anyone ever had this happen?

Havn't played Crysis for a while so I fired it up and was just messing around, there was a boat out of the water held up by some wood structure, so I switch to max power and started bashing it into the water..

It seems I ended up with maximum arms though

Easy answer, some sort of uber genetic version of a spider that was affected by the aliens bit you, and you grew more arms. Enjoy!

It would of been pretty good if I could of put the extra arms to use, sadly only the original? guns fired

I rarely play the game, wasn't looking for a solution, just thought it was kinda weird.

it looks like your third person character model has glitched and is intruding your first person view. since the two view points are separate rather than one view from a different distance. weird!

I was thinking that, but then I noticed on the second set of arms the gun has no silencer
