So, I just upgraded my G73jh from a mobility 5870 to a M6000. The GPU is working just fine and with what little time I had before work I tested it out and no issues so far. My concern is this little thing where I expected a normal choke/inductor (sorry for the bad pic was leaving for work)

I'll get a better pic later but it looks just like the larger chokes just smaller. Doesn't seem to negatively effect anything.

What is this? Should I be concerned? It's obviously an inductor or the board wouldn't work, I've just never seen one that small on a GPU.

Well it's marked with an R47, I can't find anything else that would tell me about it unfortunately.

It could be anywhere from 6-30a current rating. I guess I'll just have to see how things go. Seems to be working fine so far.

Update: Well under heavy 3D Load (running Heaven) the system just shuts off after a couple minutes. I think the inductor might not be strong enough unfortunately so going to attempt to exchange/refund with the seller
