I'm failing my math tests. Why? The weird questions and invisble rules. I failed the last one because she wanted the answer in IMPROPER FRACTIONS. Excuse me for being in a honors class last year I required me to simpilfy everytime (my brain does it automaticy now...). Another "True or false: |a| is always postive" I put true. I got it wrong (-_-')

She's quick tempered too. "I'm like what if you donate 5 cents to them" and she was like "WHAT!?!?!?" *I step away* "<insert rant my teacher here>. Amazingly I'm the only one she seems to get mad at...

Not true. Not if x = 0. As 0 is not a positive number.

Well, a is not always postive, but the answer from |a| would be. You should sue.

Hence, false. |x| is not always positive.
I don't think you can complain. You can only adjust to your teacher's style.

thats ok. i failed a test because this: graph a line that passes through (-2,5) and is perpendicular to y=1/4x+3. so i graphed the line that passed through (-2,5) and had a slope of -4/1. which was right. then she takes points off because i didnt graph y=1/4x+3 on the paper! im like THATS NOT WHAT ITS ASKING! IT'S ASKING! A LINE! grrr.

i did argue. but aparently she's always right. even more ironic is what she wrote on it. "listen to directions!" hahaha boy did i use that against her. i argued in the middle of class with her and made everyone laugh.

Wait till you get to college......the teachers are very specific about notation. If its the same exact answer, and you don't write it exactly how they want you too....you get it wrong.

That explains my latest B-......BASTARDS!!!!
