No programs will recognize my wireless card as present, I just tried intel's mywifi and network stumbler and neither would detect the card as present. I just installed a new wireless card to try and fix this problem, but the new one is doing the same thing as the old one with no programs recognizing it. I upgraded from an Intel 5100 to a 5300. I also cannot connect to my schools network. I am running Windows 7 if that helps. It would not but me as much about the programs if my computer would connect to wireless at school, but for some reason I think the two are interrelated. Thanks for any help.
yeah it shows up in device manager fine, it even connects to the internet at my house fine, but no programs will recognize it, like intel mywifi tool and network stumbler.
