Just wanted to post and say hi. Just found this site. Rebuilt my relic of a pc over the last month. Went for a 2.8 p4 with a Radeon 9700 pro and RAMBUS memory to the stuff in my specs, lol. Just replaced my case last week! Trying to decide if I want to OC it.

Welcome to OCN. I had no idea Rambus even made RAM anymore lol. I thought they just patent trolled. Misread your post. Quite an upgrade, wonder what will be next. It always happens.

Ya, RAMBUS was so nice when I made my pc. My system had 3dmarks thru the roof. Of course that was 10 years ago. RAMBUS was just too expensive to go mainstream.

I'm working on upgrading to a Corsair 750watt psu and a GPU next. Was going to get a 4870x2 but I see the new 5x00 series is coming out soon. I'll just wait and see what that holds.
