Hey, I was on ebay and I came upon this fan for cooling the heater core. And I was wondering if its worth it?
I got a bunch of like 53 CFM fans would they work? Using a push/pull configuration.

Used for what?
If you're talking about you computer then yes it would help to get it.
Maybe put that one (103 Cfm) in the front for intake and 2 rear (53 cfm) for exhaust

In case you care, that sucker (blower?) will be mighty noisy. Lots of flow though, and cheap. A quieter alternative would be multiple quiet fans (by size--12cm, design, and/or under-volted)

Yeah, it should work. I would use the 110cfm one to push.

i would say go get 4 ~110 cfm fans and arrange them in a push pull, it will cost a little more, but be all the more effective...i have one of these, awesome fan!!! its about 10 yrs old and it still kicks ass...

Well I have 5 53CFM fans that are like whisper quiet. Less then 27 dBa. Im just not sure if its gonna be enough to cool the heater core.

Get four of the high CFM fans and buy a fan controller. I have the Zalman 5 1/4" bay fan controller seen here. I have my fans all the way up during the day and all the way down for night.

Why don't you try, and find out? I'm guessing (others can correct me) that two of those fans in push-pull should be fine for all but the most extreme overclocking. If not, you can get noisier later.

Alright I will try it, I have the 1977 Pontiac Bonneville heatercore, so there will be two of the fan pushing and two pulling.

if you can, make a custom fan shroud so the fans are like 4 inches away from the fins on the core, it will allow a more even airflow over the coild maximizing the the fans power.... good luck and let us know how it works

Make sure you get a shroud setup on it
