I kind of like this new forum layout, so I thought I'd become active again. So, what rigs do you all have right now? I've been on a 1700x and 2x 1070's for a while, but I'm currently going to x570 and 5800x. I'll post some pictures of the before and after. Tomorrow. Still awaiting RTX 3xxx EVGA EK availability before upgrading the GPU's.

Patsy, and I have 2 boys now that are 1 and 4.

Getting ready to sell a house and build one. Sell my Mustang. Sell all of the stuff I do not want to move.

Who are the active Editors these days? I'm going to do some FAT donations and maybe used hardware giveaways lol.

currently running an AMD FX8300 @3.8/4.2, RX580 and a r7 360.

upgrade from a Q6600 and a pair of 9600GSO cards.
saving up to go Ryzen and hope 6700 or 6800 but will settle for 5700/5800.

7700K and a gtx [email protected],,waiting on the 3080,,next year is 5 years on my Z270,,so i will upgrade to a 8 core Zen or 8 core Intel,,maybe stretch that timeframe if DDR5 is close,
i got to say those 49 inch curved screens are looking really good these days,,
that 5120x1440 samsung looks awesome,,

Still running my 3930K and 1070. was going to upgrade, but the car i have been wanting in the exact spec i wanted came onto the market for a great price. So now my fun money account is empty going to have to wait for next upgrade cycle.

Still on a 1700 @3.9 and single 1070. I'm fine with my CPU for now but the 1070 is really starting to show its age for 1440p. No plans to upgrade until the GPU market stops smoking crack and I can a significant upgrade for ~$500. I play mostly older games anyway, and the programming work I do on the machine isn't particularly intensive, so it's not a huge deal right now.

Current rigs. Me 2600k 1080 under water.Wifes 2600k 2 1060's.folding rig 2600 2 1060's.I'm trying to put together a new rig for me.Hoping to move a few gens up with a 6 core Intel.Sell off the 1060's and go to the 20xx cards.2 2060's can out perform 4 1060's.

Long time no see! I've got an extensive list of rando stuff scattered everywhere so I'll just say what I'm typing on. 9600k @ 4.7 w/2080, 24/7 folder.

5600x with an RTX 3070 and a 3700x with a 5600xt, Would like to get my hands on a 3080 once of these days when prices go back to normal. The 5600xt will go into a kids rig at that point.

Welcome back

I have 3 systems:

• the main system has a 3950x with an EVGA 3090 FTW3 ultra
• the second system is a dedicated folder with a 2080ti and a 2080s with an i3 9100f
• the third system is an i7 7700k with the same 3090 as the main system.

I was lucky to find those 3090's for a reasonable price, the same shops are now selling them for €150-200 more...
There are a few more cards in storage, but I don't have slots to put them in: 1650s, 1660ti and a 5700xt.

I'm currently running a i5-10600k w/ 2080ti as my gaming/folding machine, and for folding alone I have a 3930k w 2x 1080ti's, i3 9100f w/ 1660, and a Ryzen 3600 w/ 2070.

I wish I could add a 30 series to the mix but I was not fortunate enough to get one early on and the prices are stupid right now so it is what it is.

FaH works just fine with NVlink as well, as it is core intensive comparative to VRAM.
