do we know?

is it likely that we'll be able to drop in a sandy bridge CPU into a PC running say a Rampage II GENE and have everything work all nice and dandy?

Isnt it supposed to come out in late 2010/ early 2011? Anyways, they have 8 core options, or so I hear, plus ubr fast stock speed, plus another year. And theres the integrated graphics core which might somehow need a new socket. Im not really sure. I doubt they are going to release an amazing cpu like that on the same socket. The i5 even has a different socket. I think
EDIT:
I think its going to be 1556 socket but need a new chipset.
