what do you think about my case cooling?

hello people!

well, i have a CM690 nvidia edition case and i have the 3 stock fans on it and 2 x 120mm Coolermaster blue led fans 39cfm 19dba,

so i have:

2x 45cfm 22dba - Coolermaster (black-no leds)
2x 39cfm 19dba - coolermaster (Blue led)
2x 39cfm 19dba - coolermaster (green led)

Well, i was thinking in add 2 more fans, but i dont know if i should buy 2 more of the 39cfm blue led fans.

what do you think? is too lower CFMs or i can buy another 2 of the 39cfm? or i should buy more CFMs fans?

greetings

I believe that it depends on your needs. How are your temps? I'm imagining that they are extremely good with 6 fans dissipating the warm air.

oh well, i have a e8400 C0 with a xigmatek rs 1283 with MX-2 and it is about 33 / 35 ºC at idle and about 60 / 61º in full load (its overclocked to 3.8ghz with 1.28vcore)

and my GPU is at about 50 / 55º in idle and no more than 79 ºC when gaming with cooler at about 45%

What do you think? are these temps ok? can i add the 39cfm extra coolers? (because these are ultra silent and i can buy 2 of them at the price of 1)

Hmm. Is it safe for me to assume that there's no fan on the Xiggy? I ask because with that overclock, I would expect the temps to be quite a bit lower. But, if those temps are from a Linpack test, then nevermind. Those would be ok temps for Linpack. But, with my E8400 at 3.80GHz with 1.28V and the Tuniq Tower's fan at 100% (I always put it to 100% when running a stress test), its load temps are under 50°C. But with Linpack, they top out at approximately 60°C. With my current voltage using a Linpack stress test, the temps top out at like 65 and sometimes 66°C.

With the GPU, those aren't bad temps, but they are leaning towards the high side. So, I guess what I'm saying here is that perhaps you do need better case fans, or rather, ones that move more air. Unfortunately, I don't know what to recommend yet so I'll leave that up to those with the experience. But, I imagine that the Silverstone FM121 will be recommended more than once.
There was a time when I thought I was going to get some new case fans, so I asked what the best case fans were that money can buy, and many of the recommendations were the FM121.

And regarding the GPU's fan speed, try turning it up from 45% to about 60-65% (or whatever speed you can stand for the best noise to performance ratio. For me, 65% seems to be about the most I want to tolerate). This will definitely help bring the temps down.

Finally, if you do have a fan on the Ziggy, then either the cooler needs to be reseated, or there may be too little or too much thermal grease, or perhaps the temperature in the computer room is too high. Or, perhaps the thermal grease needs to be better applied in the crevices by the heatpipes. But even when I get my computer room's temperature to about 26.67°C (80°F), I can do a Small FFTs stress test and my load temps never exceed 51 or 52°C. And the last I heard, the s1283 is better than the Tuniq Tower, so I would expect better performance out of the Xiggy, unless it doesn't have a fan on it.

For comparison, like TwoCables said, I have the same case as you, slightly different fan setup, but it's basically the same. 19°C ambient, my E8500 @ 4.25GHz, 1.37v idled at 21°C, loads at 53°C. This was with the stock fan. With my FM121, idle is the same at 21°C, load 49°C. That's with the FM121 turned down as low as the pot goes.

As for thermal paste, I use MX-2 also. I would recommend putting thermal paste on the heatpipes themselves. Others have suggested putting it on the little aluminum pieces between the heatpipes. I however have found that putting very small lines about the width .5mm mechanical pencil lead. It's hard to get the lines that small, but you can do it if you go really slow.

Mind you, if I crank up my Silverstone FM121 to full speed, idle stays the same, it loads at 43°C.

I know it doesn't apply here, but with my 3870x2, the first core idles at 32°C, second at 44°C, first loads at 52°C, second at 70°C. I do have one of the stock case fans ziptied to the hard drive cage pointed right at it though. Fan speed at idle is 35%, and based on my fan profile, at 70°C the fan should be at 50%.
