What heatsinks fit on the stock backplate?

Hello, thinking of getting a new heatsink for my Phenom II X3 720, as it can unlock and I wanna see how high I can get it. I don't feel safe doing it on the stock cooler, so what would be the best possible heatsink? I don't want to have to remove everything from my system to do it, but if there's no real point to upgrading on the stock backplate, I might just have to.

xiggy's do, might wanna look into the xigmatek s1283, or others. It is really simple, they give you a bar with a latch, and mounts ontop of the coolers base onto the am3 bracket edges.
If you really want the lowest temps you will have to take the mobo out of the case and install the backplate.

Do you know if Dark Knight would be like this?

Yes, I know this, but installing a better HS over the stock backplate would still be better than the stock heatsink, correct?

Get Noctua NH-D14, it's meant to be installed on stock backplate.
And no need to remove mobo from the case.
