1:10 ratio means for every 1 unit of vinegar, use 10 units of distilled water

ie...1 ml vinegar, 10 ml water....1 liter vinegar, 10 liters water
Just as it implies. 10 parts water for every part vinegar.
It means that for every unit (Liter, mL, etc) of vinegar, you have to add ten units of water.

Try this:
A 1:10 ratio of corn starch to water and mix. Then try punching it, just try.

Yeah that will work fine. I'll leave you my cleaning PDF, you need to rinse that out after you clean it, I go into more detail in the PDF.

As stated, yes 1:10 is just a ratio for the volume......1L water:10L vinegar, etc.
