4850/4870 should be enough.
A 4850 will give good performance but the 4870s are getting really cheap, you can get one for $155 after rebates, I would recommend that for better frame rates and AA.

EDIT: And no a 3850 won't be enough.

You meant 4850? 3850 can't even match 8800GS. Maybe like this and this but I don't know the budget thou.

Clockspeed doesn't mean anything if one GPU has way more shaders.

3850's are horrible now.

Get a 4850 or 4870

Here are some numbers. If bugdet is low, go for 4830, Otherwise, get a 4850.

I have a 4850 and it works just fine (look in sig). I can play crysis on high at or around 40-50 FPS <.< And there is almost no lag until you get to assualt harbor.

If you can get your proc to around 3.0 (and it is a C2D, the you will be rather well off).
I vote for a 4850!

No happy card for crysis but 4830 or 4850 consdiers a reasonable performance at that price range. You should be able to push E5200 a bit higher on that ud3r board.

okay thanks. The second 4850 I like because it has only one slot. And also what you mean by no happy card for crysis

Not quite a right word. What I am trying to say, as resolution moves higher, even powerful GPU, it is still struggling.

good point. I actually got my 4550 to play on high and got 20fps. Pretty decent for a 64 bit card. When I get this it will replace the 7200le in my parents pc so aero will work better
