What is a good PSU for my sig rig?

currently i have the one in my sig (750watt Ultra) but i personally think it's an overkill for my rig and it definitely jacks up my electric bill every month and also it isn't modular.

i'm not look to SLI anytime soon just because my 9800 GTX+ pretty much handles everything that i play pretty well.

can someone recommend a good quality psu with the least amount of watts that will handle my rig well and that is also preferably modular and i was hoping it won't burn a hole in my wallet either cuz im still a broke student lol

oh one more thing....i will also be receiving

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16889102198

this lil puppy in the mail soon as well and will be hooking it up to my rig occasionally so i dont know if the psu will make a difference or not.....

sorry if this is kinda nubish

Yea, get the Corsair HX620. or the HX520 if you want to be even cheaper.

does your PSU really affect power bill that much.. I'd not think so, but if so than my new one and SLI probably does to huh. lol
the HX620 is a good choise, either way go Corsair if you're getting a new PSU...

Anyways, don't think it will matter that much when it comes to you're power bill though..

Don't psu's get power on-demand? I mean, they don't pull more electricity than you need? Are you looking for something super-efficient?

That right, doesn't matter how powerfull the PSU is.. it won't use more power than the system needs anyway.. so changing it wouldn't effect the power bill that much..

9800GTX+ is a 160w GPU. With OC quad at 3.0G, a solid PSU that can do 400w on 12v is fine. Get the Corsair 550vx. A nice PSU with room to upgrade.
corsair TX650

or for $20 more

Corsair TX750

either of those will do great. no need to pay $200 for a 700W psu...
Get either the Corsair TX650 or the Corsair TX750.

well.....i know i'm going to switch to Corsair for sure because i've heard they make really good PSUs....

anyway thanks for the replies again guys and i think i've got my answer....
