What is Bypass Access Technology on my mobo?

758 1
It's about my old s478 socket. I have an ASRock P4i65PE mobo and this Bypass Access Technology puzzles me. There is no info on ASRock's website about it.

Can anyone shed some light about it?

I don't know anything about it, but I found this from the manual for the P4i65PE:

"Bypass Access:

This technology can provide users with the function of increasing the system
performance. The default value is [Disabled]. It will only work when you
use FSB800 CPU and DDR400 DRAM at the same time; otherwise, this option
will be hidden."

That is all I know about it.
