What is the maximum vCore that a 2.8 Northwood D1 stepping will be able to withstand before becoming unstable?
What is the normal vCore for a 2.8 Northwood with D1 stepping?
And No...I don't know the sSpec on my chip...I understand that would help
The reason for this question is because I try to set my vCore to 1.625 and it will freeze if I do it in Windows with AiBooster...and if I do it in the Bios...it won't boot up. Is this maybe a problem with the motherboard if the chip can handle the voltage?
My idle voltage when set to auto, with no overclock is 1.6volts.
My load voltage when set to auto, with no overclock is 1.54-1.58
My idle voltage when set to 1.6 volts, with a +1ghz overclock is about 1.65-1.68V
My load voltage when set to 1.6 volts, with a +1ghz OC is about 1.6
