I've been out of the OCing seen for a while and my last build was back in 2006. what is best intel cpu to overclock value wise?

clock for clock, intel > amd, but also more expensive... really depends on your needs & budget

if there's a microcenter nearby, you can pick up an i7-930 for $200 or i5-760 for $170, however, prices will likely drop even more this holiday season with the release of sandy bridge in early 2011
