I have been considering upgrading to a new AM2 system.
As of now the price has gone up from $756.00 to $889.25.
Maybe I need to get a really powerful cpu instead and keep what I have for now.
I need to know if anyone has been running an A64-5000, 4800, 4600, I would like to hear from you.
What problems did you have if any?

Here is the ABIT CPU support page and it lists the cpu's that are compatible with your motheboard. If you are looking at an X2 and you should look at getting a 4400+ and even a 3800+ would be nice if you plan on overclocking. I recommend the 4400+ because it has 2x1MB of L2Cache and will overclock to about the same frequency that those more expensive models like the 4800+ will reach overclocked. The X2 3800+ is rather cheap and will get to about the same frequency, but it is not as good because it has 2x512KB of L2Cache. As you can see from the list the 5000+ does not seem to be compatible.

The highest for a 939 board is the 4800+ or fx-60....but honestly....neither are worth it. get a cheaper one, and overclock.
