Are you talking about the 2 white boxes?
Kind of. I'm talking about the grey lines. I probably shoulda taken a better screenie but they're little lines showing me where the margins are. They weren't there in 2007...
Yeah i didn't see any gray lines. But how to get rid of them, I'm sure there's a setting probably under the "View" tab. Maybe even preferences?
They were there for me in 07. They don't bother me. You should just get used to them - they're useful.

Already looked, nada. And wouldja believe it? 2010 doesn't have any preferences.

I stopped using Microsoft products like word. I use OpenOffice, basically just like MS office but it's FREE!

I'd bet a pay packet you've never tried to do a mail merge in Oo.

OP: 07's preferences are under the File Button -> Word Preferences
Not sure if it's the same as '10, I've never tried.
