I doubt you can just determine how much a hardware will overclock. Where do you get that conclusion?

SO it should get past that with a good waterblock and RAMsinks.

At core speeds of around 490Mhz you're probably reached the limit for stock volts. The bios flash can help slightly, but really you'll probably need to do a physical vmod to get it stable at higher speeds.

My 7800GTX wasn't stable over 490Mhz on the core with air or water.
