I came across $400 and I've decided that it would be a good idea to upgrade from my 22" and 19" dual monitor setup, I would most likely try to sell / give away the 19" and start using my 22" as a secondary.

This is what I'm looking for

-Under $400
-Resolution doesn't matter as long as it looks half decent and doesn't KILL my performance - I play a LOT of ARMA 2 which I can't get to take use of my second 5870.. Just keep that in mind
-24" or above

Other then that there isn't a ton I can think of right now... Looking for a good balance of price / performance... So after saying all that, whats the best you can suggest, OCN?

I'll put a recommendation in for a Samsung 2443BW+. You do pay a little bit extra for this monitor but what you get is:

- Adjustable in almost every dimension
- Clean black bevel
- 50000:1 DCR
- 1920x1200 resolution
- Reasonably good color reproduction and blacks
- "touch" buttons rather than physical ones (novelty)

I know I Just said 24" ... But I came across this monitor- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116402

Thoughts on it? The price seems tempting, it IS 22" which is about what I'm using right now but that 120hz is really tempting along with the price.

You can get 2 x ACER 23"'s at tigerdirect for around $320

I hear they are really good for the price, the color isn't that great due to it being TN (What most monitors are anyways) but I just ordered one because of the price and a few people have told me its pretty dang good. Nearly $100 less than the 23" TFT monitor I gave my mom (HP w2338h) and the same size. I am REALLY picky, so I am just hoping its not to bad.

120HZ is useless unless you plan to use that NVIDIA 3D thing, which is even useless. 5MS and 60HZ is fine for everything.

If you want amazing picture quality, I can PERSONALLY suggest TFT HP monitors. I have owned there 21.5" and 23" monitor and both look absolutely amazing. I sold my 21.5" to upgrade to the 23", then gave the 23" to my mother as a gift. My cousin also has the 2009m which is the 20" HP TFT and it looks great. Like I said, I am really picky when it comes to spending $200+ on something. TFT IS MUCH BETTER THAN TN. HP also will send you a replacement before you have to send yours out if you run into any problems, so you don't have any down time. Only problem is going through the rigorous troubleshooting that you know isn't going to work. Don't let features capture you, because w/ monitors, its picture quality that matters in the end.
