As the title says , what Nvidia card is equal to a 7970. The reason I ask is I may want to swop some 7970's with water blocks for the Nvidia equivalent as the AMD don't fold well.

the gtx 680 is the closest single card you can get to a 7970 without opting for a titan (not worth it)
They will fold better for sure, but as for gaming performance, they will never beat xfire 7970s OCed and watercooled.
