VirtualDub > WMM.

At least in my experiences. VDub also has a lot more/better compression options. Just transcoded a 15 minute 720p gameplay video and it's only 650MB, WMM's encoding is around double the size (judging from other videos I tried before I found VDub).

Hmmm..I have WMM for Windows 7. But I don't know how to do it. Any one of you want to help me? Thanks in advance.

VDUB!!! Don't use WMM, go use Vdub it's probably going to be quicker too.
