I'm going to buy some RAM from newegg today to finish off a new build of a
e6600
Evga 680i mobo
Evga 8800gtx
Price is not to much of a concern buy getting the best bang for my buck is. In other words I don't want to throw $100-200 extra just to get a 2% gain over a $300 kit. so lets say no more than $350 for the kit.
I got my team group stuff up to 600mhz the other day, its some of the best ram out there imo. Another guy on the ncix forum got his to 600mhz as well.
I think tank guys carries this kit.

Think i'm going to go with the The Crucial posted by ENTERPRISE but is it worth the cost to get 2 kits and run 4gb. I know on my asus when i ran 4gb it actuly slowed it down...a little.
4GB 4 x 1gb memory Modules can be stressful to run and utilize at any one time...Most likely for the cause of your slowdown...Good luck with your RAM.
is this something I should be looking for. - EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles) and also SLI certified - I do plan on doing sli 8800's at some point in the furture
