Mine is around ~2mm I'd say, But just wait till you get the case, measure how thick the plexi on that case is and just try to get whatever thickness is closes to that.

1/8" or larger should be good. And if your going to buy and cut your own window, might i suggest lexan instead of plexi, it is much harder and thus more scratch restant, and is slightly more clear aswell, all for justa few $$ more. Definatley worth the upgrade if doing a custom window.

I hope this does not make your search more confusing, but to try & enlighten you a little more....

Plexi glass, Lexan, etc.... are brand names. They all produce different grades and colors. Some are much, much stronger & more or less scratch resistant. Of course there is a price difference. Some of these products are intended for industrial or sign use. Unfortunately, I don't have exact specs to offer.

I used to manage a sign shop. Some customers would come looking for specific types or grades of plexi/lexan substrates. Of course these prices cannot compare to a local hardware store.

Ahhh, now I remember, some Jeep owners would replace there glass with plexi! They wanted something that would not scratch to easy or turn yellow in the sun.

Just some insight to add....
