Hey guys, on my evga x58, Im getting weird temp readings...On the intel stock cooler, In coretemp, realtemp and ELEET it says Idle temp is 42C (24C ambient here)...However, on the 2 digit display on the mobo it says 34C...What do i trust?

Get a program called realtemp and coretemp. they should be a bit more accurate. also look in your bios.

^I have them and they say 42c..
hmm, Usually i would trust the coretemp/realtemp, but because you seem to be reading these temps directly off of the mobo i would see what other people on here say. Right now go with the mobo temps.
Realtemp/coretemp/everest are all accurate.

Agree but you need to make sure that you have the correct Tjmax set for your processor.
