It's a USB3.0 USB-A to USB-B, also used for docking stations / HDD enclosures / NAS.

Thanks. Is it the same like connecting to motherboard USB ports ?
the A type goes to the back/front panel and the type B goes to the device.

motherboard headers for usb 2/3 are: though there are mobos with the C-type as a feature.

AH.

you connect the C type to the back panel: (or front panel on your case that is connected to the mobo)

what you can do is use that cable to connect the USB ports from the monitor to the computer (back or front case)

then you can plug in your keyboard and mouse to the monitor (or anything else) instead of the back/front of the computer case.

Edit:
seems you got it as i was hunting a pic. :)
