Tried new drivers no difference

I get it whenever I start a 3D software like a game but if I open the game again doing nothing to the error I can play without any problems...but I would really like to get rid of the error

any ideas?

IF it is related to some ATI drivers or software, reinstall them, also, make sure they are completly wiped out using Driver Cleaner Pro (google it, it's free)

To add to Emmanuels post..make sure when you reinstall drivers and CCC, disable your A/V.

You can also try uninstalling Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and re-installing it, that may take care of your problem.

I was getting the same error message and this worked for me, however when I try playing Delta Force Extreme my PC competely locks up and will not play the game. ( Any other 3D game works fine though, this is really strange?)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
