Well, it's that time. I have 5 days until my Step-up (EVGA) expires. My question is should I step up my GTX 260 for something a bit higher or just keep it. As far as I know, there is only the 275, 285 (1GB & 2GB), and the 295. Not going to lie, I was sort of hoping a new card would become available, but I guess not, haha. Anyways I want to know if I should step up or not to any of those cards.

I went from GTX 260's 216 to a GTX 285 FTW with backplate.(I paid for regular GTX 285 and got a FTW, not complaining I guess)

I'll be doing the same for my second GTX 260. 295 is nice but... I felt like GTX 285 would serve me better and my wallet wouldn't want to stab me in the back.

Yeah all depends on the amount you have to pay to step up TBH.

I would say go for it if you've got a bit of extra cash, try to push for the 285 or even the 295, but if you cant afford those even a 275 would be a nice little improvement due to the aforementioned overclockability

awesome card and will last u long time(well will last me long i hope)

also if ur on a budget get atleast 275 as it is highly good OC as said above

also try to get 285 atleast so u actually get a good increase from 260(in comparison)
