Nvidia isn't releasing the GT300 series until February/March, so the ATI 5000 series would be your best choice. A Radeon 5770 or up would be what I'd pick.

I read that anything new from nvidia won't be out until early March (or around there) and the prices will be quite high. Imo I would get a 5850.

The UD3P supports Crossfire, so unless the 5850 doesn't drop significantly in price, a pair of 5770s in Crossfire would be better. They would be faster, about the same price, and are actually available

Plus the 5770s scale incredibly well in Crossfire, so it would be a massive upgrade

what about a 5850 now and getting a used one from here when everyone is selling theres for like 100 bucks. like the mass 8800gt exodus. haha

on second thought my psu only has 1 x 6+2 and 1 x 6 for pci connectors.

Go for the card. And I suggest you also upgrade your monitor. I upgraded from 19" and it's far more of a difference than I expected, especially in gaming...

I think the 32nm i7/i5 chips are coming out very soon; possibly wait for those chips to come out?
i think your rig is very nice already. do what most people recommend and get a new video card, preferably from 5770 up to a 5850. or wait if you have patient.

Go 24"+ and don't forget it to be at least full HD. I don't think it will be much of a difference if you buy a 22"...

If i was you i would get either 2 x 5770 or a 5850 depending on how much at the time and availability. You should get an adapter, like this...

Or if not you could always pick a couple up, so that shouldn't be a problem.

As for monitors, I'm very pleased with mine. 23" @ 1920 x 1080. Take a look at it.

Good luck
