What Would You Do To A PC If You Were Rich

The title says the question. What would you do. what would you buy (keeping on the topic of PC's). What system would you buy, what cooling sytems and so on.

To start with. I think i'd get an Asus P5AD2 Premium. A 3.8Ghz 570J. would request a Unlocked P4 From Intel by offering a large amount of cash. DDR2 733Mhz RAM. I would then get a 4 74 GB 15,000RPM Hardrives. I Would buy a custom Vapochill System. Keeping things small but in the -Temps. I would get a 400Watt+ Peltier. I would then a liquid nitorgen water cooling system with Face playes with go on the back of th motherboard and Graphics card. The Plates would be about 1cm think and be like a heatsink but really big that pumps Liquid Nitrogen through it. From there I would start ocing by first razing the Vcore to 1.8Votls. I would then up the CPU to 300Mhz straight away. Then i would try to get as higher FSB as i could.

After i got board with that, I would get a custom casing that made a tight water proof fit around my motherboard. then get a enclosed tub of Liquid Nitrogen and chuck in the Motherboard with the top of the CPU exposed to raw Liquied Nitrogen. I should get atleast -200C temps with that at full load. then iw ould try to get as higher FSB i could get by rasing Vcore upto 2Volts. By the way. The cables would be connected to the motherboard using sealed holes with the cable running in the Mobo Case and onto the board (for all cabls). Imagine the clocks you could get with that. Feel free to post your most crazy PC stuff if you where rich (billions Rich).

I would throw mine out the window, as I wouldnt need one anymore.

If I was rich I wouldnt have much time to be doing anything with a pc. I'd probably have a badass laptop and that's it.
I am Rich and I've already go it.
Imm rich but i dont go this extreame, i wouldnt go as extreame as sloth. id get 2 computers....1 FX55 , 2 gigs of ocz VX series ram, asus a8v SLi mobo, 2 6800ultras, 2x74g raptors and 2x300g maxtor 16mb cache drives, and then a nice DD watercooling sytem with 4 doulble heatercores kooed to cpu, chipset, and 6800ultras. then id hook it up to my 60inch tv and fire away.
2nd system would be a 3.8ghz p4 unlocked if could find one, my Abit Fatal1ty mobo, 4x74g raptors raid 0, pc5400 geil ultra 2gb, a X850XT PE or a 6850ultra when come out, and same watec cooling as above. hooked to 2 of those awsum HP 30inch lcd monitors.

This is just BS...but..if i was rich..
I would start a company which manufactures a motherboard that will incorporate a P4 570J ( also future processors)....and a AMD FX55 together on one mobo...Obviously with add on chips which translate instructions for each processor...

If I were rich...
I'd grab me an FX-59 (Toledo, dual core), DFI DSLi motherboard, twin 6800s, 6850s, or 6900s (whatever's top dog then), 2 GB OCZ VX PC3200, 4 74GB Raptors in RAID 0+1 on a seperate controller card, a nice 42 inch high resolution plasma monitor, either JBL or Klipsch top end home theater soultion hooked up to the computer, and a really nice desk with an awesome chair. Cooling I'd probably opt to make my own phase change system for the CPU and smaller systems for both the video cards.
^^^^^ right there dude, you can't top that
My system if i were rich:
Enermax 600 Watt 24 pin EM-EG701AX x2
Microsoft Windows XP Professional/SuSe 9
Supermicro X6DA8-G2 SLI Motherboard
Xeon 3.6 GHZ
Xeon 3.6 GHZ
Corsair 2 GB DDR2 (4x512MB)
2 x nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB PCIE
Maxtor DM-10 300GB SATA 16MB Cache
WD740GD Raptor 74GB 10000RPM 8MB SATA
WD740GD Raptor 74GB 10000RPM 8MB SATA
WD740GD Raptor 74GB 10000RPM 8MB SATA
Sony 16X Speed DVD-ROM
Plextor PX712A DVD/RW
Sony DRU710A DVD/RW

Short answer, build one similar to the new CIA mainframe.
if i were rich id have to agree with mfillpot. Id go for a supercomputer. i hear that theres some 12 blade opterons going for $50,000. no better yet: quantom computers. that would be awsom...

I really would love a system like the CI's mainframe, I beleive that the yahoo article I read lastyear said it has over 400 Intel Itanium 2 Processors and over a terrabyte of RAM.

Man that would be an awesome folding rig!!

Would suck at gaming though... and since that's all I use my computer for, super computers would be worthless to me

there was an article in maximum pc. ibm built a new supercomuter that does 78.something teriflops per second. its the fastest ever built and its only 1/4 th done. immagen setting that on folding!
That celeron is a beast.. hahaha.

On second thoughts i think i'll just buy one of these

http://www.top500.org/sublist/System.php?TB=1&id=7101

That thing would score about 90,000,000,000 in 3DMark 2005 with a FX5200 i reckon.

It would do about 10,000 loops of [email protected] per second

Make sure you check the details page aswell.
That thing above does 94 teraflops

heres esencially what the article from maxpc says. IBMs new BlueGene/L has 131072 processors operating at 700MHz. it scored 70.72 tereflops on the linpack benchmark.
Do you guys think of anything other than folding? I'd bet 20 bucks my current machine would beat that thing in any game because there aren't any 64-bit multithreaded games
