I use GPUtool. It works for me. ^^
Yes it does, the only thing is you can't over volt the card. Only Asus and MSI cards can. After burner is the best tool I have used so far

Not true. I was able to overvolt my Sapphire 5850 with it just fine.

Most people will be flashing to an ASUS or MSI bios for the increased OC limits anyway.

Yes, but voids warranty.

How do you know if you need to increase voltage to your cards? I overclocked my two Sapphire V2 5770s to 950/1350 with CCC and they both passed custom clock test and ran dirt 2 with no issue. So I don't need to increase voltages with afterburner?

You can flash any reference card to any other reference BIOS.

As far as I know, all 5xxx cards are currently reference designs.

A combination of Rivatuner, Overdrive, and Furmark for stability testing.
Afterburner. You can get it to go above the firmware limits by adjusting the MSIAfterburner.cfg file by changing EnableUnofficialOverclocking from 0 to 1. No flashing required.

I have two Sapphire 3870 Toxic cards and never had to increase voltage to overclock. Shouldn't my two overclocked 5770s be artifacting and freezing if they didn't have enough voltage? What is a safe voltage for the 5770?
