im going to the shop tomorrow to trade in my old i5-3750K for a new one since my old one needed to much voltages
and the shop confirmed in the email that i can trade in my old one for a new one and the new one can be traded aswel etc (if it also needs to much voltages)

the costa rica chip's are the best right?

Batches really are just luck. You can get 5 chips all identical batch & they can all overclock completely different from each other.
Same for packaging plant, good chips can be from either. Out of 9 ivy bridge chips I've had only had 2 Malaysia chip, one was the best 3770k I've bought, the other was pretty average.

I have one tip I had 4 3770k's and everyone said it was just luck of the batch you get, after looking at all the batches I got before my new one were all B stepping this time I hand picked mine keeping in mind that maybe the middle weeks of the year were closer to the center and the other thing is the stepping I wanted A this time unlike my pervious 4 B stepping chips. Reason being A is supposed to have lower voltage but higher temps which is exactly what I need since I delidded every chip I had before anyway. So it prolly still is luck but just try to get one within in 20's for weeks and A stepping.

I got a C stepping but did not have time to swap it. It supposed to be the best of two worlds.

That isn't the stepping, it's part of the lot #. You have to have a chip in the board & see the stepping in cpu-z, All the 3770k I've seen are stepping 9.
