Whats a good 7.1 card that has optical out? I want it to be $100 or less and would like it to work well with my Logitech z-5500's.

No it doesn't have optical out. I want that because with that my speakers are able to play Dolby Digital quality surround sound.

On my X-Fi XtremeGamer box it states that it has optical out. The card is $89.99 online, $99.99 in stores and performs just like the X-Fi XtremeMusic. An amazing card for the price

X-Fi XtremeGamer Specs

Bluegears b-Enspirer, read reviews, its considered better than any X-Fi by those in the know, especially any X-Fi that can be had for $109 on Newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829127002

Oxygen HD audio processor, optical in and out, 7.1 and it also does Dolby Digital and DTS which sounds amazing, I use Dolby Digital with my z5500s.

why do you need optical out? you can get digital coax much easier.

if you really need optical then you need a Creative card with either a breakout box or the front panel.

these cards have optical out... not sure about how good they are though as I'm only familar w/ Creative products
Off Topic: I used to have a coax connecting some 5.1 HT speakers to my rig and I used to get these horrible pops before the sound came out of the speakers
