For gaming I'd say it would. For anything else The P4 will probably be faster.

Lol someone bought my spare 939 board and they bought a 754 board and my dead ECS one and traded me 2x512mb DDR400 and an AXP 3000 for it, which works in my AXP board so would an AXP 3000 beat a P4 2.6HT? which runs at 800mhz FSB?

i did they all show the 2.66 533FSB which does get spanked but the 800mhz 3ghz ties an A64 2800 in gaming lol
