Running windows 10.

My power settings are such that monitors should sleep after 5 minutes of no use. For some reason when I lock the computer the monitors just never turn off...

Are there other settings or programs which might prevent this action? Or?

In some situations the monitors do turn off...but usually not. I Have yet to ascertain a pattern due to the nature of the issue.

Is the correct driver installed for your graphics controller/card? If Windows couldn't find the right driver and is using the Basic Display Adapter driver, this could be the problem--and you should be missing the Sleep option too.

It's a little complicated. I actually have three monitors and so not all of them are connected to my graphics card...

I will look into updating my drivers.

Wow, I think that actually solved the problem...

Thanks for the help. I was like 1 day away from trying to make some weird hotkey to do this manually.
