what are you looking to make? places like gamerenders.com and planetrenders.net are VERY active, but it's mostly sigs.

CGTalk has a Photoshop forum, and that's a site where graphic pros hang out (all looking for a break in either gaming or Hollywood CGI work). Personally, it's the best graphics site I've been too, and totally geared to that persuit.
