I mean on one system. Like a split screen.
is there any way to open a game twice? and split screen like that?
My guitar hero 3 worked. ALthough i was using my wired pc usb guitar and my friend was using the wireless 360 guitar connected to my wireless adapter.
And left4dead worked too with me on mouse and keyboard and a friend using the 360 controller. There's a guide here on how to set it up: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...d.php?t=745113

I do agree there needs to be more support, as the 360 controller seems to be the official pc gamepad with the amount of games that support it in singleplayer with all the buttons mapped already, multiplayer games should support several controllers at once.
PCs were never really targeted at multiple players....
You might be able to copy a game's directory and prefix the second .exe with a "3" or something. Open up both games and adjust i would think..

Wouldnt know how to resize the windows though, last game i played multiplayer on was NFS 3

I always used to be looking for split screen mutliplayer PC games to play with friends since I was the only one with a PC

I never found any, ended up with a N64 emulator playing mario kart, or flat out 2. I love mario kart

Heres the thing, most people are running older computers, or laptops theses days actully. This means one thing, not gaming platform. PC gamers usally play online or lan party.

I totally agree with OP that devs should clue in and start adding split screen modes. Heck, why not one player on each monitor of a dual, tri, or quad display setup? This is the single most bothersome thing to me when comparing PC vs. Consoles.
Please...please stop spelling it "rewm".
Maybe you could use this program to make the controllers work on multiple pcs at once? there is an article about it in in the news section called synergy. You might be able to get it to work somehow.

It is true. PC's are for 34 year old losers that live alone or in their mom's basement and think that posting on message board is "socialization".

I live alone.

Jerk.
