I feel like I'm the only one hating all current Zowie mice and i can absolutely not understand why they are so popular and hyped.

I tried the ZA11, ZA12, ZA13, FK1 and the EC2-A and performed significantly worse with everyone of them. I gave every mouse between 2 weeks and a month time to get used to but it seemed like they are completely useless to me.

Mainly talking about sensor-feeling and shape. While shape is preference ofcourse (i got hand cramps and had very bad control with every single of those shapes tho, palm/claw user with midsize hands) i feel like the Zowie 3310 implementation is smoothed or has a delay in some way that makes it perform just worse.

Hard to describe but the 3310 in Mionix mice and KPM for example felt MUCH more responsive for me. With zowie mice i seem to have really bad control over my aiming and had a much harder time to hit my shots consistently.

Seeing as even a large majority of CSGO pros changed to Zowie recently, letting their long-time used mice behind them, I just don't get whats making them so popular. Am i really the only one feeling the bad sluggish/smoothed cursor-movement on their mice?

On every site where people ask for a good mouse for csgo, everyone is always recommending Zowie mice first. Whats making them so special? Bad sensor feeling, cheap faulty mousewheels, 0815 shapes with bad weight distribution (in my opinion).

I'm really wondering myself if i just have weird preferences or if they are overrated as hell (and why). would like to hear some thoughts from u guys

The older 3090s felt fine to me on 450 DPI and 2300 DPI, but the newer ones are absolutely unusable for me because of how they feel so delayed, it feels like I'm moving and I don't get a response until several moments later, it's gross. The normal FK was fine for me, but the Kinzu (v1, Sudden Attack) has taken that mouse's seat on my desk.

Yep, exactly this! Glad I'm not the only one feeling it

Never had a sluggish feeling cursor in either my white logo or benq fk1 or za11 and za12. Definitely feel it in my ec1-a and ec2-a; something I never understood why. Reason for me having such a collection of zowie is because I bought them all at different times and tried them out past return date and then said oh well another for the collection drawer. But that's the life of many here on these forums lol. Anyways, they all have their smoothing, due to the implementation of the 3310 itself. As for the shape, it's all preference. Seems like you hate the shape and that's prefectly fine. Since zowie offer so many different variances in shape they are able to cater to more users but not all users. Zowies sensor implementation is meh but I still perform fine with mine, and as previously mentioned my fk1's sensor somehow lacks that noticeable smoothing in my other zowie mice and on top of that I just adore the shape of the fk1. Logged so much hours with it that it is basically an extension of the arm now. Also the weight in zowie mice is an attractive feature for many. Other than the weight and shape, zowie really is just hype amongst amateur csgo players just because pros use them (and since benq bought zowie they have more sponsorship capability). Sorry if I talked in circle a bit I'm pretty tired. But in summary zowie isn't anything to write home about aside if the shape is perfect for you. Just gotta keep on lookin for a perfect fit.

I feel the same way, my EC1 evo felt fine like any 3090, but the Zowie 3310s just don't feel right, especially if you compare to a DA or 3366 mouse. Also, I hate the coating they use now.

n0thing is using a g100s. He was kind enough to give me a minute of his time and I asked him if he had a g303 or a g402 board in there as some rumours suggest. He answered that he was testing one on stream months ago with a g303 board inside and the rumors started because he had mentioned it briefly. He also mentioned that he wanted to try using it in matches but he was denied by Logitech it seems. I truly believe n0thing was being totally honest with me (and I thank him for that) and I can understand Logitech's reasoning.

shroud is using a plane g302.

I think you're giving Zowie a bit too much credence. A special "tweaked" Logitech mouse, while unlikely, would at least be in the realm of believable. But Zowie? huehuehue

Zowie has no variation within their internals, this is completely unlikely to be anything other than a paint job. Logitech has a whole R&D department with lots of prototype builds that they use older or existing shells for, which would explain the possibility of a 3366 in a G100s shell as a prototype thing.

Zowie mice have never felt too great to me. Always felt like cheap knockoff deathadders. I suppose it is just preference since so many people love them... but personally none for me thanks.

Out of all Zowie mice I've tried.. FK series feel most responsive and sensor behavior seems normal. Can't say about ZA series.. since I've only tested ZA13 and 12 but both gave me hand cramps after 15 minute of use. (used them for about 1 day) ZA's sensor position should be around same spot as on FK though?

When it comes to EC-A Series.... something about it's performance and responsiveness just seems off. I thought it was just the original mouse skates, but even after installing hyperglides... it didn't change. Also the coating in EC-A series is just something that doesn't work well with my hand. Gets really sticky and feels like my whole hand is heating up on the mouse.

Just my personal opinion. Used FK series and EC-A for about 2 months. Decided to buy FK1 again since it feels really good in my hand and kinda improved my aiming. Don't want to sound like "that guy" or anything but it feels like when I use it .. it feels like the mouse has built in aimbot.

Just hope I can safely remove the right side buttons.

Probably has something to do with the sensor position. EC-series have a lower sensor position than FK-series in typical grips. I didn't notice anything odd with Zowie firmwares, except that they are using the SROM version (0x0E) which has the CPI bug. Doesn't matter in Zowie's implementation though.

Zowie do some good shapes that work well for people that don't have conventionally sized hands and/or want to use claw/finger grips.

As a claw gripper with short fingers there isn't a lot of choice for me in terms of mice with good factors and sensors.

I personally move the mouse at up to 4 m/s and notice no tracking problems with either of my Zowie mice. The buttons are a bit stiff on my older (yellow) FK but that is fixed on my newer (white pre-Benq) ZA.
