One supports SATA 1 and the other has SATA1 and SATA2

I love them...this is my 3rd...was thinking about modding this ultra d, then decided to just get a new one that has the bridge and all...am running at 2915 mem at 291fsb

Yea, I am using the sata on my ultra-d and it ocs great I like i said am running 2915 291fsb, and temps are 32 idle 43load...just cant get it stable over that...prime or pi

The NF4 $li chipset features an onboard sata 3Gb/s /RAID controller and is the featuered chipset on both boards. The sli-dr also has a silicon image 3114 controller on the board, which provides sata 150 and RAIDs 0, 1, 0+1 and 5.

The nf4 natively locks the SATA bus speed, and I have heard people say that the sil 3114 doesn't... that's why it would effect an overclock.
