I just reformatted last week, I don't understand how I could have corrupt files, my usb was win 10 creation media fresh install...

anyways, not very often, I get whea uncorrectable error, sfc command prompt said i had corrupt files, so i did C:\Windows\system32>Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

and it said Error: 0x800f081f

The source files could not be found.

should i just try reformatting again? gah... all I do is game, I don't even do mods, I don't see how this could happen lol, im on windows 10

Running SFC or Dism won't make the problem go away, neither will doing a reinstall.

A reinstall, SFC, and Dism just fix file system errors, they do not fix whatever is causing the errors.

You should be looking for that. Most likely causes are memory errors or a faulty disk (SSD or spinner).

@cakewalk pretty sure its my old hdd causing it, my ssd is brand new, a new 850 evo i got about a month ago, i had this error before my 840 evo ssd, so yeah its def the seagate 3tb. i hear the 4tb models are much better at no failure rate issues, so yeah i will give that shot

It was my HDD, HD Tune Pro said the error might involved a cable, replaced cable, and voila, no more errors, lol... gotta love that little program
