When are the Nvidia Price cuts and how much will they cut them?

Well guys I was looking at the DX10 performance in a thread that one of our member has just posted and now I dont think my Video Card will be that much futureproof so I am wanting to step-up to an 8800GTS 320MB right after Nvidia cuts their prices, so does the price cut affect this card or is it just the 8800GTX and 8800Ultra? Also what price do you think I would have to pay for 8800GTS?

According to the rumor mill at nvnews.net its gunna happen fall of this year to compete with amds new stuff.

Quote:

According to the graphics card makers, NVIDIA may be cutting prices across the board soon and advising some of their partners to keep their inventory low. GeForce 8800 Ultra should be receiving the biggest cut and price may fall to as low as US$599. 8800GTX and 8800 GTS prices may be lowered as well to better compete against the Radeon HD 2900XT. 8600GTS and 8600GT should receive some price cuts as well when HD 2600 and 2400 cards start to flood the market. It seems that NVIDIA is adopting the price cutting strategy to put down their competitor before they have any chance to recoup any market share.

Alright, Im hoping they will be before Sept. 20 because thats when my step-up warranty ends
I bet you can step up to the GTX before then and then step up from the GTX to the ultra for a lot less When the prices drop.
It says you can only step-up once i though and i am hoping to spend less than $100 (including sending back my 8600GT)
