I know you guys are probably annoyed of all these BD questions. But when do you think its coming out? And how much do you think it will cost once its out?

I dont want to get BD (unless the price is right

) I just want phenom X4's price to drop when it come out

They're aiming for a release in the next three months. If Bulldozer does better than SB, you can expect it to be more expensive. If it's on par, should be around the same prices.

And yes, all the old-gen stuff's prices will fall when the newer stuff arrives.

You could also buy a current generation board and flash it for AM3+
That'd be a cheaper way of going about it

Yea, I'm wondering why AMD, with its love of giving us an easy upgrade path, would knowingly force us to buy something we didn't need. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't trust these business' at all really, but that would seem to be a dangerous business move for AMD.
So I'm a little cautious about current AM3 support for BD, I think if AMD could have retained the Socket, they would have, unless they are getting a lot of pressure from board manu's to help them make some extra cash... I dunno, I think there will be drawbacks to using AM3 for AM3+ supported CPU's... But I guess we won't know till it arrives... Let's wait and see.
