What is a good running temp for this card? I hit 75c - 80c often and that seems way too hot am I wrong?<br />

Thats pretty normal on a 1900xt(x) with stock cooler. I'd get the vf900cu it cuts temps almost in half.

Get ATI Tool, you can adjust fan speeds in there...It cools it wayyyyyyyyyy down<br />

But, answering your question, Those temps are pretty normal for a card like that under full load.

Underclock youor card when not gaming, and when you game you can bump it up. For the extra 10 fps i wouldn't bother overclocking that card. I know i'll get flammed for this lol. Why risk overheating your card when you can play with almost no difference in performance?

That card can handle 90*C all day. You are fine at those temps. Better than fine. That means you still have some headroom to overclock that bad boy some more.

As long as that cards good in the temp range you can always OC. The zalman is a good idea though!
