When is Vista's SP2 supposed to be released?

I'm having doubts if I should just reformat Windows now, or wait a bit longer until it comes out, which for that would have to be in one or two months. My install is pretty fresh IMO, it only has 3 months and about 10 days...

I would wait and then upgrade to x64 when Sp2 comes out. The difference will amaze you.

Sure but when is it coming out? My decision is gonna depend on that...

just going based off previous release dates, the Beta went out in october, Beta 2 in jan, the RC now, so im gonna say like 3 months...

is your install hosed? can you cut some apps and stuff to help it run better or whats goin on

No, there's no actual problem with my install. I just wanted to speed it's boot times and such a bit. But if there's like 3 months, then that's quite a bit of time... Which means I'll probably be reformatting. By the way, I really don't want to run beta's or RCs of SP2 when everything I have runs fine with SP1. So thanks for helping

I could be wrong... but, Im thinking SP2 will come out at the end of Q2
